AS-69/APT Crossed Element Phased Antenna
This antenna was one of the first "fishook", or turnstyle antennas designed to provide circular polarization to counter Wurzburg radars. This antenna
was among a long series of such antennas in an attempt to be more effective against a wide variety of target antennas, both horizontally and vertically polarized.
